Connect one-on-one with government agencies and prime contractors!

The Norcal Gov2Biz Matchmaker will feature one-on-one scheduled meetings between businesses and local, state, and federal agencies, and large prime contractors. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet with buyer representatives and small business advocates to market and sell their goods and services.

In addition to personal appointments, attendees can meet and network with resource partners like Norcal PTAC, the Small Business Development Center, local Builders Exchanges and Chambers, as well as other businesses that could potentially be your bidding partners. 

Confirmed Agencies

US Coast Guard, California Highway Patrol (CHP), California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), US General Services Administration (GSA), US Bureau of Reclamation, NASA Ames Research Center, High Speed Rail, SamTrans/Caltrain, Caltrans D4, California Department of General Services and Golden Gate Bridge, and Highway & Transportation District. More agencies to come. 

Light refreshments will be served throughout the event.

How does the Matchmaker work?

Step 1 - Register & Apply for Meetings

Step 2 – Stay Tuned for Your Matchmaking Appointment(s) Confirmation 

Step 3 – Prepare & Attend

This event registration includes questions about your business. We’ll use the information you provide to match you with up to three agencies that are likely to buy what you sell. Appointments are about 10 minutes long, so do your best to prepare by researching the agencies in advance and updating your marketing materials and  elevator pitch. 

Please note:

  • Registration for matchmaking appointments scheduled in advance closes Thursday, March 19, 2020.
  • Meetings will be scheduled on a first-come-first-served and best fit basis, followed by a waiting list.
  • Registrations received after March 19 will be added to the waitlist and scheduled contingent on cancelations prior to the event, or availability on-site in the case of no-shows for scheduled appointments. 
  • Your meetings may not be consecutive. We’ll do our best but plan to stick around a bit and enjoy some networking and refreshments.
  • Participating agencies may not buy what you sell. You are still welcome to attend the event to network with resource partners, agencies and other businesses.
  • Appointment schedules will be emailed about one week in advance of the event.
